no vaccination necessary with agency?

Google Translate from German:

After taking part in the Green Card raffle, I was contacted by an agency and commissioned by them.

The employee informed me that I did not need to fill out Form I-601 because my vaccination status would not be checked during the medical examination at the consulate in Germany.

Can this really be true?

I thought there were mandatory vaccinations when entering America.

The agent told me that all I needed to bring was a blood test from my family doctor confirming that I was free of serious illnesses such as AIDS or cancer.

I can't imagine that it shouldn't be a problem that I'm unvaccinated, since I've already followed so many threads from people who had to apply for a vaccination exemption and therefore had a longer processing time of around two years.

Does anyone have experience with this and can report back?

Someone might be able to confirm, but because the number of diversity visas is limited, requesting a waiver might mean that there is no more visa available by the time the waiver is processed.  Something to think about...

Well the issue is they have to be issued by the end of that Visa Year, and that seems unlikely of you have to file a waiver.

Also why did you contact an Agency?

So what should I do?

I tought,  it would be much easier if an agent would take care of the process.

I hired them because they told me, they have agents and lawyers and they take care of everything, and my greencard would be 100% guaranteed.

No lawyer/agent can give you a guarantee.

Please give more info about your situation - presumably this is a 'just in case' question in case you're selected in the lottery in the future?

Never trust those words from anyone.

As the agent told me, they take care of all the necessary forms and also sent me a picture with my case number from USCIS.

We were supposed to speak on the phone once a month and my case was supposed to be resolved between May and August next year. Then I could emigrate to America and get my green card there. Before that I should have my interview and medical examination at the consulate in Germany.

That makes no sense. Are you saying you were selected in the DV earlier this year? If so, you should have your visa by now - the deadline has passed. If your case would be resolved between May and August next year, then that would be next year's lottery, and the draw won't take place for a long time yet so there would be no way of having a case number yet.

I'm sorry to say but this doesn't sound legit. Have you checked the status of your case number yourself? What does it say?

Did you win the Lottery?

It is free to enter.

This sounds more and more like a scam.
