Hello,

we attempted an expedite request on terms of medical emergency and were rejected because I believe lack of evidence. That was a week ago and now we have doctors notes citing medical emergency and diagnosis paper. When I re attempted expedite with this new information I got the the NVC response that you’ve already tried this and they already said no, it didn’t go to the embassy it was struck down at NVC.

my question is how long do I have to wait to send this new expedite where the NVC will send it to the embassy and not reject it right away?

thank you

They are saying they will not expedite.   There is no magical “grace period.”   You can try again anytime, but personally I would take that note as your answer.

The second attempt was responded to the same day and says “we previously sent your request” it didn’t go to the embassy who are the only ones who can make a decision. It’s frustrating because they didn’t send it to the embassy the second time

Because, same thing:  the initial answer stands.

you really shouldn’t comment on things you have no clue about, I re attempted expedite through congressmen who specified that the request must go through to the consular post and was approved. It’s not because “initial answer stands” it was because it was being stopped at the NVC. Thank god I didn’t listen to you

There's really no need to be so rude, particularly when it seems you requested an expedite from the wrong place. SalishSea said you could reapply at any time, and you did.
