I-129F I need my criminal history, however, I live 2,000 miles away from the court

I've been going through the step by step process. I'm sure when I fill out the I-129g it's going to tell me I need to submit more information on my arrests. They happened 15+ years ago, but there were 4 of them. I don't even remember the details anymore. To streamline the process I want to get the criminal history first and then send them the information with my initial form.

Now, I was arrested in Connecticut and I live in Utah. I've explained the situation to a few people at the criminal clerk's office and I get a slightly different version of what I need to do each time I call. So my confidence level of fairly low. Is there any other way for me to get my criminal history?

Give someone in CT (a lawyer, paralegal) power of attorney to go to the court and get it for you?

In each county where you were arrested, just ask the clerk for a certificate of deposition. That certificate will have details of your arrest, so there is no need to worry as much.

I wonder, would an FBI rap sheet be acceptable?

No. You will need to get the actual court papers. USCIS won’t make exceptions because it’s too far away to travel.

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: Philippines

I got an RFE for not sending the proper documentation along with my I-129F petition for a charge that I had 30+ years ago. I had to write to the county clerk and formally request a certified copy of the court disposition. USCIS will not accept anything other than a certified copy from the court.
