They also show an 01 and an 02, case created 24-May-2024. Originally they gave me an estimate of 13 months start to finish, being stuck in limbo is frustrating, but expected.

Usually 01 and 02 would be if there is a derivative like a K2 child.  If that's not the case there could be other reasons.   As long as the date keeps updating it means that they are at least actively working on.  It could be seen as positive since usually it means progress.  Unfortunately there is no way to predict how long it will take but you probably aren't that far away.

Riza has a daughter but we haven't included her in the process as we want to get my fiance settled and the house ready for a toddler, once she gets her change of status after our wedding we'll start the K2 process to bring her daughter over. My family has given me grief for not only deciding to marry a Filipina, but more so doing things the way we are, Riza wants to secure herself here so that if problems arise we'll be able to handle it together rather than being on opposite sides of the world. I'll keep checking CEAC and hopefully soon we'll see "approved" or processed, at which point I will literally dance with happiness. I won't be complete until we get her daughter stateside though, Zara is my little princess and I would move mountains for her. I am all she knows for a papa.

That makes sense.  The 02 case probably means the embassy has accurately included the daughter as follow and join so she will be able to travel within a year of her mom without requiring a new petition.  It sounds like everything is going correctly and it is just the embassies infamous slowness and inconsistent timeframes.

Aahhh, we did have Zara on the petition so the government is aware she has a daughter. So essentially they've prepared for her coming over without us having to push it? Once both are here I will sleep well lol.

You should just have to file a new DS160 for the child if she will travel within a year of her mom.

I just checked CEAC and it shows the case was updated today but the infamous "ready" is still bold. They must be majorly behind at the embassy.

I have gone ahead and reached out to my congressman for help on getting answers since nobody at the embassy wants to answer the phones or inquiries. It shouldn't take this long to finish the process, someone isn't doing their job at the embassy. Hopefully my congressman can get to the bottom of the matter.

I think I figured out why we're in limbo. Riza sent the CENOMAR and passport without the completed 221G information form. I don't know what to do now, they have her passport and CENOMAR but WILL NOT review her case without that information form.

There is a place on the Immigrant Visa Inquiry Form online for attaching documents. Maybe send an inquiry explaining that she forgot to send the 221g form with her passport and CENOMAR and then attach a scan of the completed form to the inquiry? I don't know if that will work but maybe worth a try?

There's just 1 problem, how do I get the UID number? I have a copy of her DS-160 form but that doesn't have the UID, I can have Riza check her email for her interview confirmation and see if the UID is on there. I'm going to call the info center here in the states around 8 and talk to someone about what to do so that we can fix this problem. I'm heart broken because I thought we did everything correctly but it appears we messed up.

The interview was scheduled before the switchover in September and we can no longer access the login. That switchover has caused such a headache.😞

I got an email from consular services this morning acknowledging that they received her documents on October 31 and that they forwarded them to a consular for review. Finally got an answer because my congressman called them demanding answers. That's all we know now, her case hasn't been updated since the 18th. 😞

My fiance found her appointment confirmation with the UID, now we need to find out if they still need the completed 221G info form. My hope is they don't need it as they referred the CENORMAR and passport to a consular officer for review, knowing my luck they'll refuse her again and tell us she needs to fill out and submit the 221G info form and then proceed from there. She can fill that out and then upload a copy through the website so I'm praying they tell us we're all set and we just need to be patient while the process plays out.
