How to update F4 beneficiary’s name and marital status?

Hi all,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m back asking for your input. I petitioned for my siblings and the petition is now approved and in NVC and the MNL case has been created. The visa availability is still decades away.

My sister got divorced. Anyone here knows how I can update her name and status in her approved petition?

I appreciate your help.

It does not matter, like you say these things take decades and what will matter is her situation when her PD is current, if she then has a spouse that spouse can be included.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Thanks,  Boiler. I understand it doesn't matter now but do you know how do I update her name and status? I'm a little stickler when it comes to that.

You have the receipt, write to that address.

You need to contact NVC through online query form  and update them about the marital status of ur sibling. In the mean time. Make sure she updates her status when she gets married and want to add spouse. Also, make sure she keep divorce documents to show termination of marriage. If it snot in English, must have it translated into English
