@WCF I'm new here, read your post.  I'm in the same boat as your fiancée.  The difference is that my visa category is EB2 (employment-based).  I had my interview on 10/9 and was told that my visa is approved and to wait for a couple of weeks for my visa packet to be delivered.  It's been 2 long weeks but my CEAC status is still "ready" and the dates just keeps changing.

I tried to call the embassy, and all they could say was that they were working on my case since the dates had been updated five times since the interview date, and that all I needed to do was wait. My medical expiry is Dec 18.  🫣

Did you have any updates?

Yes, my fiancée woke me up at 2:30 AM my time this morning to let me know that our status has now been changed to "Approved." I truly hope that it will change to "Issued" soon.
I know exactly what you are going through, and your medical time frame is even shorter than ours.
At least you got through to the embassy. I waited on hold for an hour until I couldn't take hearing the same music played in an endless loop. I did write emails a few days before the status changed but I think the timing was just coincidental and not in response to my correspondence.
I think like us, you just have no choice but to wait and have faith that they are "working on it."  People kindly say to be patient, and I know it's all we can ultimately do, but it is very stressful. The not knowing, and especially the feeling of helplessness quite frankly, sucks.
I wish you the best and let us know when it is approved.

If the "ready" date changes it can be seen as an encouraging sign that they are actively working on it because the date only changes when someone at the embassy does "something" with the case.  Generally, it is progress.  EB2 undoubtable requires more routine verifications than some other categories.

congrats! I can confirm what @top_secret reported… Jaycel said CFO was a breeze. Just bring lots of proof of relationship. Unlike the embassy, they WILL go through it all. Happy times my friend! You are almost there 😁
