its like every other week we have a new poo flinger who thinks hes right and everyone else is wrong, and thinks he/she is better than everyone else.

Point is example A never said it was Fact but merely tentatively stated his opinion on the cause. Which some of you seem to have a complex issue with.

You mean enough that a background in economics apparently generates a large amount of tentative hear-say - when facts and figures should be almost at your fingertips; or rather at least demonstrate a more than passing familiarity with actual economic research?

Show me where that has happened..

PS Is this murder also due to poverty and density?? Maybe he can use the excuse in court, right??

Seriously, Boo-Yah, if you had ANY legitimate, academic background in science, you would NOT be confusing hearsay and anecdotal stories for observation nor would you be daringly drawing hypothesis based on such information. How you got past 7th grade Biology class without learning that is beyond me.

So what are you saying. I made those stats up?

I don't know where you got those stats from - I'm questioning your interpretation of the relationship between the two sets of figures.

Quite simple really. You claimed that crime is a result to poverty. Therefore the poorest 14 cities should also be have the highest crimes rates.. I found the two lists yet the lists did not match up..

Yes - that what I read from your posts, thanks for clarifying.

Now here is the clanger - and this is obvious to someone without an MA in economics. By that rationale - you are assuming that wealth is evenly distributed. Whatever kind of economics you did - you seem to have overlooked some of the simple fundamentals.

Hence if you were to drill down by neighborhood - you would likely find a much more pronounced correlation. That's my hypothesis ;)
