I was told it takes 2-3 days for the Cons to mail it out... it really depends when the Cons mails it out... in the morning, in the afternoon.... CanadaPost guarantees delivery in 24hours or by 5pm next business day. So, the best is 24 hours atleast from mail out.

So, I would wait eve a week before it comes... and yes, you HAVE to sign for it. It could be anyone else at home, not necessarily you!

Also, can I bring in a Purolator 24 hr. envelope instead of an Express-Post 4-5 day one? Do tell you wise sapa sapa sapa gal.

Peace, L. (who is working on her trashy talk).

Purolator isn't the same as CanadaPost - some postal outlets have Purolator supplies and the driver's will sometimes pick up at designated locations but unfortunately it's not the same deal.

Sorry!

I repeat (with echo, ....echo, ....echo, ....echo, ....echo, ....echo, ....)

Please user XpressPost.... no Purolator, DHL, UPS, etc, etc... They want XpressPost. Ensure that you get the specific one (I think there are two-- Regional and National. Your P4 letter should state that!)

Would be national for anything outside of Quebec and Ontario. Its the largest size envelope available.

Good luck

you can give that whatever you want, even make ur own envelope and make up ur own spiffy stamp!! BUT if you actually want to receive the visa, best to give them what they want, lol Of course if u have had an awesome immigration experience, why not just start over at the bvegiing, double the fun,lol Of course I'm only kidding!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
