I have been looking around the internet trying to find some way of watching English TV, i must admit i miss the soaps like Eastender, Emmerdale and Coranation street, also now the Football season is about to start i would also like to watch Match of the Day.

I have found a site that you have to check out, you can watch BBC1 BBC2 BBC3 ITV CH4 CH5 E4 SKY1 UKGOLD so please go to my web page that i created just for this reason, all it is is two page site, page 1 is a link too the British TV site with a seven day free trial, i tried it and its spot on, what do you have to loose.

Page 2 is links to skysports.com, Eastenders, corry etc, just something ive been doing to keep me busy while i wait for my AOS to come through.

I must admit I am slightly tempted, I did spend hours last night watching Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares and coupling last night on BBC America. I am not interested in any of the soaps, but being able to get all the football would be good, especially if I could get BBC Scotland as well.

The only thing that puts me off is that I hate watching tv on my laptop and I know that I will probably never hook up my laptop to the tv.

Fox Soccer Channel

On a Saturday 2 Premier leaque games live and another one on a time delay. Sunday usually one Premier League game live and sometimes a live game mid-week.

Setanta Sports also show Premier league games.

I love to watch any football, just to see a good game, yeh we have fox soccer channel, so i will be watching them tomorrow, but im a Barnet supporter, :) ( dont laugh)..

So i went and paid to get Barnet live, so i can listern to the live commentary of all the games home and away, i dont think they will show Barnet on the Fox soccer channel some how...

Any way, good luck to all the teams that we are supporting tomorrow, lets hope our season goes the way we all want it to

I tried uknova but they have number of user's and dont allow anyone else to access the site, you have to keep trying untill someone leaves, its great that its free

With the one i have linked to my web page you have to pay for per month or per year, but you get live TV and also delayed streams 5, 8 and 16 hours, so you wont miss what you want to watch, plus you can get pay per view sports events, live football games that they have posted etc.

I guess its up to the individual who really misses that kind of stuff, im a TV addict so i have to have it

Nothing wrong with Barnet I can remember when they were a non league team.

Fox Soccer was ok last year as I have supported Watford for best part of 40 years so I got to see them get beaten a few times live :crying: I signed up on their web site to see they games there all I have to do is remember to get up before 7am so I can watch, and if it's a lunchtime kick off 4am.

Dalm right. Those ppl that complain that we don't pay a tv licence can ####### off. I pay my subscription to BBC America and also pay my subscription to Sirus for radio one. Would like to have a bbc world news channel as well, cause the news programs over here suck (I know you can get the news programs on BBC America, but rarely get to see them).

Might be worth checking your local PBS station - many of them carry a BBC half hour news program

It's true, BBC can be one-sided sometimes but they don't invest in fear mongering quite the way US tv news reports do (IMO anyway)
