Hello everyone. The USCIS website, one line reads, "If you are a U.S. citizen you may petition for unmarried sons and daughters (21 and over)...

 

My understanding is that stepkids are piggy backed on the same petition as my spouse?

 

Does this include stepkids of a USC or it in reference to biological children of a USC?

they have to be listed on the spouse visa (July post says IR1)

but they are not piggy backed // u need to apply for each one seperately with fees and alll documents /age of each one is important

Spousal visas or other Immediate Relative visas do not allow for derivatives.  As @JeanneAdil stated, each step-child will need a separate petition assuming the step relationship was created prior to the child's 18th birthday.

Your spouse will be in Immediate Relative category (IR). IR does not allow derivatives.

If the stepkids were under 18 when you married and are still unmarried and under 21, then you can petition for them also as IRs. So your spouse, and each of the stepkids will likely just need their own I-130.
