K1 visa London embassy need help with instructions letter!

Hi! So basically we got our NOA2 in June, the NVC letter saying they sent our case in September. Our case status was "ready" on August 20th on the CEAC website. (Over 3 months since our petition was approved)

Assuming I would receive my instructions letter from the London embassy shortly (as it's been awhile) | scheduled my medical and interview, and I had my medical on the 30th Sept. My interview is supposed to be the 15th October (next week).

However, I am getting in quite a panic now because I STILL haven't received any letter from the London immigration unit which it says I should take to my interview. It's been almost 2 months since my case was

"ready" and I received the NVC letter. I have contacted the IV unit 3 times through the contact form but no reply whatsoever. I've also read that people have never received a letter or anything!

I was wondering if other people in the UK that have recently had their interview ever got this letter and whether they needed it on the day of the interview? I don't know what to do as it would crush me to be sent away on the day of the interview because of this

Thanks for reading!

I applied for a CR-1 visa and didn't get any physical letter. Your appointment confirmation via email IS your letter. Print that out and take it with you to your interview.

Always read through everything given to you carefully.

It should be titled 'Immigrant Visa Interview Appointment' and under the bold subtitle of Important Information it states: You should present this letter upon arrival at the Embassy/Consulate General.

Amazing! I totally forgot to add in my post that I’m doing a K1 visa but I’ll print off my appointment confirmation and CEAC “ready” status 😊

No you did, no worries. I'm confident it's the same regardless. You also couldn't have done your medical without your appointment letter, so you probably had it without realising!

I have a full review of the London Embassy here if it helps, pictures included:

Good luck!
