Hi  all,   On Jan 23, 2023 I submitted  N600K application for my daughter's citizenship approval. After that I received Receipt notice. For about 21 months, I haven't heard anything from USCIS. All of a sudden on 10/04/2024, I received an email from USCIS which states as below:

The Status of this request is: USCIS Systems indicate that we are actively reviewing your application and nothing is outstanding at this time.

Your case has moved forward in the process. USCIS official will determine whether an interview is necessary.

What does it mean please?

Thanks

This essentially means someone actually picked up your case and reviewed it.  It is hard to say if it means anything more than that as it could just be someone checking the application for obvious missing evidence, or something like that.  The estimated processing time for the N600K in Las Vegas is 4-5 years, so who knows.

Good Luck!

Thanks Dashinka for your reply. Hoping for the best.

I heard these N600K processing times are unreliable. I am regularly watching Las Vegas processing times. 3 months back processing time was 20 months, 2 months back 31.5 months and now it is showing 58.5 months. I read about a New York N600K case, where processing time shows 60 months but entire process completed in 24 months.

For N600K, Interview in US is compulsory. I am hoping that my application was allocated to an Adjudicating officer to review and take a decision on RFE or Interview.

Hoping to hear in a few months time.
