Hello everyone good day...just have a few questions..

When I entered here in the US we used my inlaws address coz my husband and I stayed there for a while and it was the address we used also for my k-3 processing.

Now we moved to another state and I did not know that within 10 days of moving we need to file this change of address? I have sent my AOS application already using my new address without updating my address yet in USCIS..my question is:

- do you think for not updating my address in USCIS will create a problem to my AOS application?

- if we will update our address who will file for it? me or my husband?

- Do i need to call USCIS? what number am going to dial?

Sorry guys had lots of questions here..i just don't have an idea regarding this matter..hope ur willing to share ur ideas.

I would file these right aways....

this one you can either mail in or fill out online... Ar-11

and this one.... you have to mail this one in ... sponsor's notice of change of address

i wouldn't worry about calling them up to change your address if you used your new address on your AOS forms...

Thanks MarilynP for the quick reply..

I just want to clarify this one in AR-11..it asked my status here in the US..I am currently in K-3 visa and my AOS application is still pending...should I check other? then I will put k-3 on it? or I will check Permanent Resident?

Thanks in advance for the reply/replies.

We had done the same thing. We moved and used the new address on the forms not knowing about the AR-11. For his status I put K-1 pending adjustment of status. And at the end it said the change of address was completed but, if he needed his address changed on any pending petitions, we had another step to complete. We didn't do that part as we'd already used our new address on the petition.
