We are thinking of paying with Alaska Mileage Plan credit card for our Adjustment of Status filing fees. We read on the USCIS website that payment by credit card issued by a US BANK is one of the payment options. We know Alaska Mileage Plan cc is an airline card, but on the back of the card, it has the website and logo of Bank of America.
So we are confused but also it would very much help if we could pay with this card.

that’s fine. All those types of credit card are issued by banks. Not the airline.

As you say, that’s a Bank of America credit card so perfect to use

Just be aware that the card could be declined despite there being enough credit available. Strongly recommend to use personal checks or bank checks for peace of mind.

Seconding that. Credit card transactions get flagged for fraud all the time. If you read VJ, there's quite a few reports on this. Personal check is the king when paying USCIS fees.

Here are examples
