Hi All,

Our I-130 approved on 07.03.2007.We are on CR-1 process.

It has been one month but still nothing from NVC.My husband called by phone and talked to the person

and they say nothing received from USCIS yet.

USCIS confirmed sending of our case to the NVC.

I see here most of case received in 2 weeks by NVC.Should i worry about it or it is normal procedure?

Congrats on the approval. Sometimes it takes a bit for the NVC to sort through all their incoming mail and get the cases entered into their system. I think they tell you they have up to 0- days but that is way tooooooo long. I know others who have had problems called their elected representative and had good results but I believe you have to wait to the NVC limit.

AS per their say we should wait 30-90 days for a case number

starting with letters ANK (Ankara/Turkey)

I hope it does not take that much but It has been 1 month already.

It normally doesn't. Keep us posted as to your progress and log it to your timeline once they have processed your petition. Have you checked the immigration timeline stats here on VJ? Sometimes that can give you an idea of what it is taking. Good luck

I will do it.I have checked timelines and seen that it takes 2 weeks generaly.

i cross my fingers and hope i can update my timeline very soon.
