iam an American citizen and my wife is a citizen of Spain. We also hold Moroccan citizenship. We were married in Morocco The marriage certificate has my wife’s first name and family name, but the Spanish passport has her name and the father’s and mother’s family names. Now the Moroccan documents for my wife only have the first name and the father’s family name.cos in morocco you can only have 2 name first name and family name from your father

but my wife when her parents moved to spain she got citizenship when she was 6 years old so as spain passport has to have 3 name first and family name from father and mother.

so now im confused i don’t know what to do?

can someone please help me with that please

I would use the name on her passport and put any other names in the other names used section.

how about if they ask for proof of name change or something like that?

Answer honestly.  If there was a formal name change, obtain the applicable documentation.
