Hi all,

I am a British citizen, and me and my boyfriend have just submitted our K1 petition. I am due to go over there to be with him in September for a wedding and an extended holiday. Although I am eligible for the VWP I will use my B1/B2 visa, and pray I get in! It is eligible for 6 months, but recently they have been stamping it for 3 months when I go and visit, which I do every two months or so for a couple of weeks. I am guessing they will stamp it for 3 months this time as I will buy a return ticket within that time frame. My question is , does anyone know if and how I could then get it extended to 6 months from within the US whilst I am there during the 3 months, or is it simply impossible? I was happy with just going for three months, but the waiting times seem to be getting longer every day, so I am thinking about my plan B!!

Thanks

Lily
