Getting US entry records to US by land as a GC holder from 20 years ago. Now a USC

I want to get my entry records to the US by land crossings from the time I was a green card holder. I have automatically derived Citizenship from my parents and now have a US passport. I was looking at the correct way of doing this and my research led me to use this site https://www.securerelease.us/ and the request would go to CBP. Am I correct in my research? I wanted to get confirmation before I go through with it.

Thanks

Current wait times for that is 1.8+ years.

Why do you need then?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Wow that is a very long time. I'm considering applying for n-600 and wanted to get all the info before I proceed.

That's smart as you can only file N-600 once. Is N-600 needed to get a job / sponsor somebody for immigration benefit or you're getting it as "insurance policy"? If the latter, then it's best to get all info required even if it takes longer.

I am planning to get it as "insurance". I'm OK for waiting a while.

I signed up to the site and it looks like there are two different types of requests that can be made. FOIA and Privacy Act request. Since I am getting my own records it looks like Privacy Act request is more appropriate?

It looks like I also need to attach a "Certification of Identity form" which I found here.

I think I also need to attach a photo ID like a drivers licence or a passport card?
