K-1 Visa Cambodia, possible to delay interview?

Hmmm currently freaking out right now about right now. I had booked tickets to go and visit once more this november, as I was expecting her application to take alot longer.

Fiancee K-1 visa application was approved  relatively fast by UScIS and her interview date is scheduled to occur end of October. Literally 1 week before i’m scheduled to arrive.

I heard if the beneficiary goes alone they grill them alot harder and cambodia is notorious for rejections.

We also got some red flags.

- 8 year age gap 22 her and me 29.

- Soft introduced by parents, mom showed me her pictures and I reached out on FB first

- We got engaged on first visit.

- i’m cambodian-american(not sure if this is a red flag or not but there were cases of fraud occuring a decade ago)

Should I ask them to push out the interview date by 2-3 weeks and then I can be there in person with her, is that even possible?

Rather than try to change the interview, wouldn't it be easier to just change your flight?

Sadly that won’t be possible. I work in Finance and October is a blackout month for work as we have to prepare for Q3.

If I could, I would.

Ah, I see. In that case, I'd try for a reschedule.

Good luck.

Update, I talked with the Lawyers and a date change would be hard and they stopped letting fiancees into the Embassey every since Covid. So i'm just gonna give her my ticket info and other info and place that as part of our evidence package and to let them know I will be flying in next week 😞.
