Question about DS-230

Hi,

I received the Affidavit of support letter that ask to fill the form and mail it to the NVC about 3 weeks ago... I still have not sent that form in yet because of some things that are delaying it.

Then today, I recieved the DS-230 letter in the mail, asking to send them the form. Can I send them the DS-230 if I have it ready before I send them the Affadavit of Support form?

and after I have sent in all my forms (the last one being DS-230) ... approx. after how long do they send the interview date?

In my understanding yes there should be no problem sending the DS230 before the affidavit of support, you are sending in one as petitioner and one as agent, they will process the case after they receive both.

How long from case complete to interview depends on your embassy or consulate, they all have different waiting lists.

Fill in your timeline, the more people introduce the datas the more accurate it is.

The I-864 has nothing to do with the DS-230, so you can send the DS-230 before sending the I-864. They won't complete the case until they have received and reviewed both forms. Once they receive them, it takes about 2 weeks for them to complete the case.

I think you can - but make the phone call just to be on the safe side. It shouldn't be a problem.
