Employment Cert, is it really needed?

Hi, we're gathering our papers for the I-864... Should my petitioner include his employment certification? I believe this is not required to be submitted unless specifically instructed to do so. Thanks...

its better to have an excess supporting documents than to miss one & be in AR status....

What do you mean by employment certification, the EAD and if so, did you apply for the EAD before submitting AOS?

If you are applying for AOS yes you need to include that in your packet. You can check my website in the signature, I have the list of the documents we submitted for AOS and EAD and so far NO RFE and done with my biometrics.

What do you mean by employment certification, the EAD and if so, did you apply for the EAD before submitting AOS?

I'm referring to the letter from the employee stating that my hubby(petitioner) was working for them for _years. It is mentioned in the I-864 checklist, along with the pay stubs. We're thinking if we have to submit those or only the tax transcript.

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with EAD. Can you tell me what it is? Thanks...

EAD is Employment Authorization. YOu can try this link http://www.freewebs.com/avee02/k1aos.htm

For Adjustment of Status make sure to submit the Employment Letter of your petitioner.
