Waiting for my NOA1

How much longer should I wait for my NOA1? I see some people get their NOA1 in 10 days or less. I guess it will take awhile due to the the fee increase...

This waiting thiing is killing me softly.. I wish it's October now so I have less time to wait. hehehe

Hello Everyone. Finally go reunited with my fiance and now husband. We are soo happy.... After 2 years since we filed 7/28/07 we received our visa on August 4, 2009... don't give up. if you know USEM is wrong fight for it... We did...

NOA1 is just a a notice that they receive your applications it will come soon. Its the approval thats takes forever. Just be patient and dont forget to pray! Good luck!

NOA1 is just a a notice that they receive your applications it will come soon. Its the approval thats takes forever. Just be patient and dont forget to pray! Good luck!

I guess I want to get my NOA1 so I can log into the USCIS website to keep track of my record... I know the NOA2 takes forever.. Thank you soo much for your response. I'm always praying = )

If you feel that your should have your NOA1 already, then try to call the USCIS hotline to double check with them if they already received your form.

You can always ask your bank if your check has already been encashed. If it is, you can request for a copy of the check and look at its back. The receipt number (starts with 3 letters like WAC, MSC,etc.) is usually written there. Then, you can check it online thru the USCIS website.

But if you choose to wait for the snail mail NOA1, it will take about 2-3 weeks. However, the notice date is usually 7-10 days from day of sending it.

If you don't have your NOA1 receipt number, they can not trace it.

island_princess is right..if you dont have WAC number, you can't monitor your application in USCIS website.

I still haven't receive my NOA1.. I'm worried. I know this is just a notice letting us know that they received it. But they haven't even cash my check. Did this ever happen to anyone? and how long did it take you to get your NOA1? also when did they cash the check?

it really happen especially that u filed in july, a rush month for USCIS due to filing rates. a friend of mine submitted theirs last july 16 and they didnt receive any notice yet. just be patient. it will just come surprisingly in your mailbox.
