i485 filed and biometric interview next week, no mention abt k2 ?

Hi guys

I entered the US via k1(myself) k2(14 yo child). Everything was smooth and I submitted I485 for adjustment and to allow charges of $1140x2 to be charged on credit card for the both of us.

However, we were charged only once. letters and appointment received were only addressed to myself.

Was wondering if we messed up the application for k2 child? Or that the k1 applicant needs to be approved before the k2? My biometric appointment is next week, received the letter in the mail this evening. No mention about interview for the k2 child.

Did you send in two separate and complete adjustment packages ? Each package would have had its own payment authorization.
Cases are handled individually , so no guarantees they will move along in sync. 
 

Give it a bit more time. You will either get same receipt notices for child or packet will be rejected ( if you missed something in child’s forms)

Thanks for your kind reply, I sent in 1 package w the mentioning of k2 details n i485 and i864 with both our photographs. I guess will head down to the office next week to ask them in person. Hope they don't mark k2 down as overstay visa as the 3 month mark is end of Sept.
