Covid vaccine for medical

Does anyone if If two series of the covid-19 vaccine is still required for AOW medical since there is an updated vaccine now which is only given once?

Applicants must receive one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if a dose is due at the time of the status adjustment medical examination. As with other vaccinations, additional doses recommended for people in older age groups, with certain health conditions, or who are immunocompromised are not required for immigration.

I have not received any covid-19 vaccine previously. However everywhere o go there is the updated vaccine that they said they only give one dose of it...which means that I will not get 2 doses
