@banang  @Makenko I still have not received my interview date. DQ'd on the 22nd Nov. Waiting for London Embassy. Do you think it will be much longer? Any ideas?

It looks like both you and @banang are literally next in line as my DQ was Nov 19th. It looks like currently IL for London are sent once a month, EB are a few days after Family Based. My guess would be an IL for both of you between 25th and 30th of Jan for an interview in March but, obviously, things can change so we can never be sure.

Hi,

I am also awaiting the interview letter from the London Embassy for my EB1A application, with DQ on 9 December 2024.

As your interview is scheduled for early February, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your experience afterward. It would be helpful to know the questions asked and any other relevant details to prepare effectively.

Thank you in advance, and let’s stay in touch regarding updates on this process.

I had this email the other day....Just a waiting game!

This notice is to inform you that your case for an immigrant visa is documentarily complete at the National Visa Center (NVC) and has been since 15-NOV-2024.
- This means that NVC received all of the fees, forms and documents required before an immigrant visa interview. Your petition is waiting for an interview appointment. Thank you for your patience.

Your case will remain at NVC until an appointment is scheduled. Then, we will send it to the proper U.S. embassy or Consulate General.
- We will notify the applicant, petitioner, and attorney (if you have one) when the appointment is scheduled.

The U.S. embassy or consulate tells NVC the dates they hold interviews. NVC fills these appointments on a first-in, first-out basis. We cannot predict when your interview will be scheduled.

hopefully we will get the ILs at the end of this month, as they are only issued once a month typically at the end of each month

this email that you got I believe is a generic and system generated email sent every 60 days

lets keep each other posted

Hello Everyone,

does anyone know how long London Embassy takes to reply to case transfer?

I @Makenko transferred case from Paris to London within 3-4 days.

we're awaiting London embassy to confirm if they're happy for the case to be transferred from Mumbai Consulate to London since 31st Dec.

Mumbai embassy has scheduled our interview on 13th Feb - but with school, work, we think it's going to be challenging to be in Mumbai regardless.

We're in a limbo and kind of confused what to do next - just wondering if anyone has a way to contact London Embassy quickly?

also, is an offer letter expected at the EB1A interview?

@appleblossom any clues?

@Hamd157 I'll do my best to share my interview experience. Do have a look at this thread though as several EB1 and EB2 shared their interview experience there in London

@EB1Aspirant on my side the transfer was made before I received an interview letter so fully with NVC. I would imagine your case is a bit different. Good luck!

No offer letter is required for EB1A.

What proof of residency did you submit when you asked for the transfer? And who did you ask and when (was it before or after you received your IL)?

@appleblossom Thanks.

i provided BRP copies, UK employment letter, water bills.

Our attorney asked London Embassy to transfer the case after we received IL from Mumbai Consulate via NVC.
