Hello Everyone,

I am under the F4 Visa Category, where my mother's brother has sponsored our immigration. Our dates are as followed:

1) Case Creation: 1st May 2020
2) PD: 26th July 2007
3) DQ: 27th July 2021
4) Embassy: Islamabad Embassy

We recently had our interview on the 19th of August 2024. We are a family of 4 with my mother being the primary applicant alongside of my father and my younger brother. During the interview the CO informed us that everything is alright from their end, however, they cannot issue us a visa at the moment due to some security clearance. She told us the normal processing time is 1-3 weeks for this and that they will email us if they need anything from our end. At the end she handed us the 221(g) form and it had the Administrative Processing and Passport (send via courier) option ticked

Since the interview our case has gotten updated thrice, once was on the 29th of August 2024 when we sent our passports, the second time was on the 5th of September 2024, and the last time was the 12th of September 2024. It still says Refused and shows this for 3/4 applicants which is that the case is still in administrative processing, while for the 4th applicant which is my younger brother it shows this.
I am the only one who knows about this and cant share it with anyone right now due to how chaotic and messy it will make my entire family. Please guide me does this mean his visa application has gotten refused or is it still in administrative processing. If it has gotten refused what should I do now?

If it is not approved it will show refused.

1 to 3 weeks Islamabad would be very quick.

I do not know how long it took for the I 130 to be approved but do not think it was quick back then.

Do you have any clarification weather the second child's case has been refused or are they under AP as well

They’re in AP.   Very common for Pakistani males.   You just have to wait.
