I-751 Filing Fee with Child Included

My wife and stepson have conditional permanent residence cards.  45 days ago we filed I-751 with all of the documents plus a check for $750 plus $85 for my stepson's "biometrics, so a total of $835.00.  I included the $85 biometrics because that is the only info I could find online.  My stepson is listed on her I-751 in Part 5. and we checked the box that says he is applying with her.

On Friday USCIS mailed the packet back to us saying the wrong fee was enclosed.  I looked online at https://www.uscis.gov/g-1055?form=i-751 and there is no indication what the fee now is for a minor child included on the I-751.  They both entered the U.S. together and both of their cards expire in 4 days.

I don't know if the fee should be $750 or $1500.  I just called USCIS and the representative did not seem to know either and said we need to pay an $85 biometrics fee for each of them so $750+85+85 = $920, but that doesn't seem to make sense since it appears the biometrics fee is now included in the $750 filing fee and is not a separate fee anymore .  I am really confused.  Am I sending $750, or $,1,500, or the $920 that was recommended by the USCIS agent?   Do I just file a separate I-751 form for my stepson and pay the $750 with that?   I only have a few days to figure this out before it's deemed a late file.  Any help would be appreciated.

We just filed our ROC application last week. I have a K2 who also arrived here with me.

I included her in my application and only paid $750.

Received Receipt Notice last week and USCIS cashed my check today.

Hope this helps

USCIS has included biometrics fees in the cost of the the I-751 since April 1, 2024.  The total fee is $750.  You can use the fee calculator here to double check what you should pay. https://www.uscis.gov/feecalculator  Minor children are included on the I-751 of the parent.  It is only one form. Just resubmit the package with the correct $750 fee.

@Gupiter You only file 1 form I-751, at a cost of $750.  This is from the instructions for Form I-751.  I bolded the section relevant to you - from the "Who May File For I-751" section.

Quote

If you have dependent children who acquired conditional resident status on the same day as you or within 90 days thereafter, then include the
names and Alien Registration Numbers (A-Numbers) of these children in Part 5. of Form I-751 in order to request that
the conditions on their status be removed as well.
If you have dependent children who did not acquire conditional resident
status on the same day as you or within 90 days thereafter, or if the conditional resident parent is deceased, then those
dependent children must each file Form I-751 separately to have the conditions on their status removed
