Hey, has anyone here encountered this issue? This afternoon I finally received my LND case number, was so excited and called to book my medical for the earliest available appointment. But when I went online to schedule my interview I received an error message that my case number "is not ready for an appointment". I thought maybe it was because I didn't complete the DS-260, so completed that but still my case number is apparently not ready. I emailed the email address in the error message and it said to allow up to FIVE DAYS. I know five days doesnt seem long but when you have been separated from your partner its just frustrating. Has anyone experienced this or know a work around? Feel really down as thought the case number was the final hurdle but being faced with this is really upsetting.

You need to wait for the documentarily qualified email when you will be put into the queue for interview. it will then be a few months before you receive your interview letter at which point you will be able to book your medical appointment.

Your medicals have an expiration of six months. You need to have your interview within 6 months of your medicals. So it is to be done AFTER the receipt of interview letter.

I was first given a case number in March 2020, my documents were qualified June 2021 and I was given an interview date today.

Just finished triple-checking my documents for tomorrow.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  Good luck to everyone else interviewing on the 16th!

Me too. Alarm set, and done a walk there tonight to make sure construction won't be in my way tommorow.

Spoke to the po po outside tonight on duty and they said folks start lining up at 8.15!!!

Wow. Email says don't there earlier than 15 minutes before , right. What to do... 30 minute me thinks!

Good luck for tomorrow! Cindy/Matt look out for "Southwest" tomorrow and say hi!

Hi all, I do have a couple of questions prior to the interview next month.

After I submitted my husbands' I-864 form to nvc, he has since gotten a new job and my police certificate has expired, do i bring the new docs with me as well as upload them onto the CEAC, pre or post interview?

Many Thanks!

I'd upload them now, and then bring them as well. Otherwise they'll put you in AP until they are uploaded!

You may want to familiarise yourself with the NVC stage of the immigration process, not sure how it works if you are direct consular filing, but usually you will need to submit the ds-260 plus all your civil documents and the affidavit of support plus all of the financial documents for that, once submitted you need to wait for the NVC to review, set the Documentarily Qualified email then wait for an interview date email.

If you have further questions about the process, I would suggest you start a new post in the process procedures section or open a new post on the UK section.
