Managed to reschedule my interview yesterday. Within minutes of missing the appt time scheduled I had an email to say missed appt and inviting me to reschedule. A couple hours later I logged in and was able to open up the calendar and choose a new date, there were several days a week available with varying amounts of appt slots running until the end of June. 😁

Great to see that you managed to reschedule as you needed to! 🙌

Hopefully!! 🙏 and assuming the patterns continue as they have been!

If they follow the same pattern, with people being offered interviews this week (appointment times released this week, for appointments in June)--when would those folks have gotten DQ'd? I don't know if I'm phrasing that correctly--but by when would you have to have been DQ'd to reasonably be expecting to be offered an interview slot in this upcoming batch of interview appointments?

We were DQ'ed on March 4th.

I've seen DQ dates up until Feb 2nd that got interview invitations in April's batch but for the people on here, latest DQ date was January 15th (maybe 17th). So the pattern I expect to see is DQ dates up until February 15th will get interviews. However, it looks like London is opening up a fair amount compared to before. So fingers crossed, we'll see DQ dates into early March get interviews (including my wife and I).

That's great! Keeping my fingers crossed for ya! My husband was just DQ'd Friday, so I'm hoping it's just another 2-3 months before we hear. Maybe less, based on what you said about London opening up more.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for sharing all of your updates - this thread has been a real lifeline throughout this process! I thought I would do a quick summary based on previous posts in this thread on where we seem to be at with April interviews.

For context, I was DQ on January 4th and I’m still waiting for my interview (hoping for May…)

If anyone has any further updates (or corrections!) please do share:

@Muso303DQ October 16th - Interview April 7th (changed by Embassy from March)

@Jonathan Simpson DQ October 16th - Interview April 7th (changed by Embassy from March)

@Jamie B DQ October 8th - Interview April 8th (changed by Embassy from March)

@Charlie87 DQ December 14th - Interview April 19th

@bharats DQ December 16th - Interview April 26th

@Ailurus DQ December 16th - Interview April 27th

It seems like December 16th was the cut off for April interviews since:

@Christine Kapp DQ December 17th - No interview yet

@Dawn2021 DQ December 22nd - No interview yet

I also jotted down the dates interviews were released each month:

  • March 15th 2021
  • February 11th 2021
  • December 15th 2020
  • November 13th 2020
  • October 7th 2020

So, in summary, I’m hoping that those of us that were late December / early January DQ dates will hear about our May interviews sometime in mid-April..!

I hope this is somewhat helpful also for those new to the thread.

Thanks

Another user did this great piece of work in March.

April batch for May interviews was 17th Dec to 17th Jan roughly. I'd love for them to release the whole of Feb in this batch but I think it will likely be June batch for a July interview sadly for us.

April release was 15th so hopefully this week it will cast some more light on the pattern.  Although there could be a random month like January where they released nothing.

We DQ'd March 5th and hoping for a July interview so anything earlier will be a bonus!

Hello everyone, I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right place, but here goes.…

We are currently DQ, just May 3rd.
F2a spouse visa, California SC, PD August 2019
Question is…will my husbands interview be on a similar time frame as the IR-1/CR1 visa? I can’t seem to find many F2a visas for UK. Thank you.

Yes Arthur, that's basically my logic, hopeful for the date but will definitely take anything earlier though! 😁

I'm checking here for other people and my emails probably as much as you by sounds Amanda 🤣😂

I would think the timeline would be similar at this point. It’s a family preference immigrant visa and a visa number is available to you, your preference date is current (right?). So you should be in the same line with the spouses of US citizens who don’t have to wait on preference categories for visa availability.

We DQ'd February 26th, so nervous to see if we have a chance to be included in the next batch! Not expecting it, as the government moves at their own pace.

The Department of State posts visa stats for each month. London issued 58 CR1/54 IR1 visas in February 2021, and 126 CR1/106 IR1 visas in March 2021.  So excited to see things moving! 😁

Thank you for replying. Yes, preference date is current. hopefully the wait isn't to long for us all now :)

Hi guys! Assuming nobody had anything new today?

No, but in April they released the interviews on the 14th and in March they released them on the 15th, so I still have hope!
