That is really fast. Congratulations🥳

On your timeline, click “submit review” and copy/paste your experience in the review section so it is there for others to access. It’s good info about I-864 and quick turn around.

I shall do, thank you, and thanks for the congratulations as well! It's such an amazing feeling knowing we can start to make proper plans!

Just another thank you @Wuozopo for being a stickler for getting people to update their timelines, and reviews - it really does make a difference so people can see accurate statistics! ☺️

Hi all

Just to update, my interview was yesterday at 10.30. I arrived at 9.50 (I'm just always early and they let me through). Proceeded through security etc and was given my ticket number and sent to the first floor to the waiting room. Was called for documents and handed over everything - they checked my medical was on the system (taken on 23/04) and that the affidavit of support was there - they told me they didn't need the physical copy with the wet signature or my hubby's tax transcripts as they were on there. Sent back to sit down and wait for interview part. They also took fingerprints at that window.

Called up to another window and swore the oath and did the interview. The lady said everything seemed fine and they would issue it and that it could take a couple of weeks for my passport to be returned with the visa in. I got a bit excited and then babbled on about how my hubby was in New Orleans for work and it was ridiculous o'clock time in the morning and how I couldn't wait to call him and wake him up and I'm sure the lady thought I was bonkers as I was clearly so excited!! 🤣🤦‍♀️  But, it was a really smooth process in my experience and I'm so thankful we're finally able to make plans to be together!

My status was AP first thing this morning and then changed to issued a couple of hours later - got the email from DX this afternoon that my passport will be available for collection tomorrow - I can't believe it's so quick!

We're super happy, and have cried lots of happy tears of relief and pure happiness over the past 24 hours!

Thank you to everyone in this forum for your help, support and general radness! 🥰 You're awesome!

I also had my appointment at 10:30! I echo all Dawn's message, it was really easy and smooth.

Unfortunately they had no record of my medical on their system even though I had done it and the results had been sent to the Embassy a couple of months ago. They gave me the green slip and asked me to chase up the medical center. I did this straight away and they emailed the Embassy while I was on the phone.

Frustratingly I am now in limbo waiting for the Embassy to acknowledge the email.

Fingers crossed!

Hey yall!

So my wife's TB sputum came back negative last week - they sent over the medical to the embassy and today we got an email with a tracking number! Case status shows ISSUED!

Can't edit that post.. but what should we expect to receive in mail? Just the passport, or also the medical packet?

CBRA appointments still not available at London embassy unfortunately. Have to figure out if my son can travel on his UK Visa with ESTA meanwhile.

Congratulations! We just got DQ'd this AM and are so excited.

What was the interview like? What kinds of questions did they ask?

I hope it gets resolved for you soon! Funny we were there at the same time!! ☺️ I would have been the slightly bewildered looking person half crying half laughing person struggling to find my way out! 🤣

Update - day after medical received by the embassy, we got the DX email. Passport received in mail the day after. Apparently everything else is transmitted electronically now. Excited!

Hi, which email address did they ask you to email.

I had the same situation whereby  they asked me to upload my new police report. I uploaded two weeks ago and havent heard anything. Maybe i was suppose to email them to which wasnt mentioned to me.

Hi K93, have you heard back? If so, can I ask how long after you emailed them did you hear back?

Congratulations! What sorts of questions did they ask in the interview?

They asked more questions than I expected actually:

- How did I meet my wife

- When / what was our first date

- When / where did we get married

- What is my wife's occupation

- What is my occupation

- When do I plan on moving

-  How do I know my financial sponsor (brother in law) and what is his occupation

It was all very relaxed and welcoming!

That's so great to hear! Congratulations! All straightforward questions. So glad to know they seem friendly and not trying to trip anyone up.

It’s cool time isn’t our our enemy to be fair, we both live here in the U.K. together so we’re not apart. We will just reschedule an appt more suitable maybe June hopefully. However it is good to have the control back in the process!

Managed to reschedule my interview yesterday. Within minutes of missing the appt time scheduled I had an email to say missed appt and inviting me to reschedule. A couple hours later I logged in and was able to open up the calendar and choose a new date, there were several days a week available with varying amounts of appt slots running until the end of June. 😁
