Has anyone who currently has an appointment tried logging into the rescheduling site to see when or even if there are any slots showing up? This might help give an indication of what is going on. The appointments now being made for early March are pretty worrying. It would indicate that there are no new interviews being scheduled for Feb? So the next batch would be released next month for March/April. Which has added an extra month onto the wait time. I DQ's Oct 16th, would love to be out of here by end of March. Yikes.

Here's a link if it's helpful to anyone

New appointment date! 17th of February at 1030! I'm so happy it didn't take weeks for a new one!

I've told everyone in my family that no-one else is allowed to get covid 😂

Did they reschedule that or did you choose the date?

Since I had to miss my original appointment in January, I had to reschedule it myself!

I chose it about 15 mins ago! There were three days available but I didn't check the other two and 2 other appointments on the 17th to pick. Hope this helps!

The 17th is a Wednesday, which is the day of week they cancelled in January and then some In February on the 3rd and 10th.  Don’t set your hopes too high since Wednesdays keep getting the axe. Hope your family and you stay well.

At this point, I agree that unfortunately it's looking more like March. I guess the silver lining is that this next batch should hopefully get the notification within the next few weeks. Waiting truly is the hardest part.

I know it's said a lot but it helps me to come here and read it from others who understand...hang in there everyone!

Also, anyone who was scheduled for an interview this week and early next, please keep up posted.

I just had my interview

I was approved subject to resubmitting a document, that she asked to be translated then when I left I saw it already was translated and she missed it. So annoyed as now I have to go through a whole courier document palaver when the document was there in front of her face. They wouldn’t let me back in the embassy to explain.
but yes the embassy is super quiet literally one booth registering one booth interviewing and appointments I think are only in the mornings

was DQ Oct 2 and got my interview letter on Dec 15 if it helps

Thanks for sharing. The good news is that a lot of us are right behind you with the DQ date, not so great that there are so few interviews happening, but at least they are moving. Congrats on passing that hurdle at least. What a relief!

Yes I should feel relieved but I am so anxious that something will take forever again now as this stupid document wasn’t read properly by the officer. They kept my passport so I guess I now just sit and wait til my case is updated online that it’s been processed.

I would be keen to hear anyone that got approved how did it take for processing or a notification that everything was done and being sent out ?

I should be excited but I’ve been in tears since I left. I guess it’s a very emotional process...

Yeah that's fine. Honestly, after everything going wrong that can go wrong, I'm getting increasingly more "this is fine" about it haha. I miss my husband dearly but I'll get there eventually. That's all I can really tell myself! I just wanted to get a date in again.

You will definitely get there and if you can just take it as it comes you will feel better I think. Those that build themselves up so much with anticipation, fall that much harder with disappointment. Disappointment is rampant these days in so many ways. We never know from week to week what we will be allowed to do, if we can travel, if Covid will strike our families brutally. The rules change constantly and have a knock on effect that changes other things. A continental move right now could even be uncomfortable in these times.  Wishing you (and the others) some peace amongst the chaos.

Hey everyone,

any news on anyone else interviews?

I'm going crazy over here because my application says Refused online. I've uploaded the document they asked for and they were received by the embassy yesterday via Royal Mail

I'm just panicking it will take months to change to approved or it never will. Anyone who has been through this, help me out? It's only been 48hrs since interview / upload, I know I am impatient, but I was so expecting to be on a flight next week and reunited with my wife :( :( :(

Did you have your interview and then they asked for a document? What document did they ask for?

my interview was Tuesday this week.

my lawyer uploaded the marriage record not certificate, so I had to upload the certificate. did that

also my Swiss police record she requested to be translated. having left the embassy I noticed it already was and she overlooked it. so I re uploaded it with comments and mailed the original to them just in case.
