could be a longshot, idk, but I wonder if the bank holiday on the 26th has to do with it?.. But I know there's also Labor Day on Monday.

Do they send ILs other than Thursdays? Or is that all for this month?

It's really hard to say.. for july they all happened to be on thursdays. and some were sent last thursday. I know people that had DQ'd in late april, who theoretically would have gotten a letter in late june, ended up getting them july 4th (on a thursday). so maybe us late june (& early july?) DQ's will get them the first week of september. sucks though because i was holding out hope for today 😔

When I check my status on CEAC (state.gov) it still says at NVC. Does that mean they still haven't sent it to the embassy and I'm not in the queue for an interview?

 

I'm overthinking this - my UK job might be able to transfer me to the US but I need to give them a timeline of when the move will happen and I have no idea. We were DQ'd on July 1st. I'd go on my own (I'm the US citizen) but we have two babies so it's complicated.

It will say that until an interview date has been scheduled for you. So it should change once you recieved an interview letter. I DQ’d June 28th so you and I should be up next for interview letters!! It should be any day / any week now. And your interview date will *likely* be end of october/early november but truthfully no one will know exacts till that letter hits our inboxes. Once u know ur interview date, id say give it an extra couple weeks to for moving until u could start ur job at the new location

Thanks so much for your reply!  That makes me feel better. I did tell them my best guess at the moment would be mid November. Fingers crossed we get our interview letters soon! Let me know when you get yours, I'll do the same!

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I just received my appointment date for the 7th of October. DQ date was 26th of June.

My Husbands visa interview is done & approved! We are nearly there 🫶🏻 Should he of been given anything at the interview?

Hi, we were DQ 7 July, still waiting for our IL. Was on another thread but just thought I should join this one since it is up to date. Is there any rhyme or reason to when they send out IL? I read it was only once a month (4th) but it seems like they are sending out multiple batches of IL a month? It is incredibly frustrating that they are not more clear with the process. Anyway - glad I found this group - good luck to all.

We try our best on here & other places to make trends out of the NVC, but they are *nikacado avocado voice* always two steps ahead…

 

Multiple batches sent in July. One batch sent in August. All batches sent since July have been sent on Thursdays, but not previous to this. Tends to be once a month, typically the 3rd week of the month, but every now & again, they send them multiple a month.

 

Occasionally, there’s 1 person that reports having got one when no one else has, and I’m led to believe it’s probably someone who rescheduled their interview date, and whoever’s next in line got to fill the original cancelled interview date. I’m a June 28 DQ waiting on a letter as well.
