DQed on Nov 1, IL received on Dec 13 for Interview on Jan 10.

Finally!!

Question: When you registered for the Embassy online account to select mailing address for passport which option did you guys select? I thought we already have the visa appointment registered from NVC?image.thumb.png.1bb55365e1c27a320242c9720740c08a.png

I did the first one (need to register an immigrant visa appointment) and once I populated the NVC case number details it auto-populated when my appointment was. It then lets you select the courier/delivery details.

We got our IL letter yesterday too! Question - how have people been able to book the medical already? We can't get anyone to answer the phone number given for VisaMedicals.

Try their email, they were very responsive to that.

Hello everyone,

I want to know what vaccines do they administer during visa medical? As I don’t have any records from my home country, I am planning to get those jabs ahead of medical. I am aware of vaccination requirements from US website. But I heard they will only administer only a few. MMR, DTP and hep B would be sufficient?

No, just those ones wouldn’t be sufficient, you do need the rest (except varicella if you are from the UK), you won’t get the visa otherwise.

Visa Medicals won’t give them all to you in one day if you don’t have any, as it’s just too many. So you’d be better off getting at least some before your medical, then you can have the rest done there.

Hi Everyone

please is it compulsory to get care summary from GP if no major illness or medical condition? I’ve got my medicals next week.

Hi!

Yes, same rules for everyone. Your summary care should include your immunisation records too so even if there's no illness listed it's still worth having :)

Your doctor should be able to print it off quite easily but would start asking them sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I guess I’ll be in trouble, it’s on coming Tuesday. I have my immunisation records which is the international cdc card.
I will try and pass by GP tomorrow, if no luck, I’ll have to go without the care summary in hopes of mailing later.
