Hi group, has anyone DQed around 26th Oct received their IL dates/letters yet or are we still awaiting them?

I was DQed 10th Nov so a bit after you, but I don't think anyone has received an IL yet for the batch due to go out end of Nov

@Ivjeremylv thank you for your explanation. And yes I’m referring to DS 260, affidavit of support and civil documents.
thank you so much for your response. I hope Christmas and new year holidays don’t prolong the process.

You're welcome!  And yes, hopefully soon and no holiday delays.  Good luck :)

Hi all!

I went back a few pages in this thread and looks like the last date for letters to go out was November 6th, which is exactly 4 weeks before today so fingers crossed we're hearing something soon! I wonder if they're slightly behind schedule...

The Thanksgiving holidays I imagine.... should hopefully come by Wed this week. But they're not giving us much time to schedule the medical....

Yeah i think so too. May be because of Thanksgiving Holidays, they could be little behind schedule. Hoping to hear back soon!!

You can book your medical appointment before you receive your IL.

Yes that's right, sorry I should have been clear my situation is a little different, I'm not in the UK at the moment and I am waiting for my IL so I can book my medical and therefore my flights!

Are you sure? I got in contact to ask them what they could do and they said they need IL date to book. I think a few others in this thread have said something similar. Any tips for how to get around this?

EDIT: Maybe just the person I was in touch with and I need to try again - thanks!

You can book the appointment in advance. But not all medical places will let you make an appointment without IL date to avoid people keep changing their appointments time.  i personally think its risky to book an appointment before getting an IL right now since there is a possibility of delayed interview dates due to holidays..

The person I spoke to at Visa Medicals was relaxed about it and said that I could change/cancel the appointment without charge if I gave three working days' notice. Like you say, you probably just need to get the right staff member on the phone. It makes sense to get an appointment secured, considering that you can always rearrange without penalty!
