Hey guys!

Random question, are ILs being sent via post or email? We’re about to submit the last of our docs to NVC and I will be moving address in a few weeks. Not sure whether to update my address before we submit or after I move.

I don’t want to miss the IL if it’s coming by post!

Hiya, it's all email! You'll get your usual "your case has updated" email plus another one with all the interview details

Just out of interest, did you have to submit any forms etc since the notification that you have been document qualified?

Thanks,

Sam

When did you DQ?

Hi!

Once you get the IL you have to "register" for your appointment (at least at my embassy) which had a couple of online things I think? But nothing insane, and you have to sort the courier information for the embassy to mail your visa/passport back to you. We had to pay for postage.

I got DQ on 6th March and waiting for IL

We are IR-1 category and our 2 year anniversary is early June so I think my interview will be closer to then so I can get a 10 year green card upon arrival in USA.

Interesting point. Ours two year wedding anniversary is next month

I had my interview last week, 1 month before my 2nd wedding anniversary. The officer gave me a choice - he could either approve the CR1 there and then, or wait the month and he will approve it as an IR1 on my 2nd anniversary. I went for the 2nd option
