Your interview is 6 weeks after DQ, or you got your interview letter 6 weeks after DQ?  I was DQ’d 3 and a bit weeks ago and have heard nothing about a date yet, so fully expect the interview to be 4,5 or 6 weeks after I get the letter, which may be another few weeks yet too. 🙄

im in the same boat :(

I guess it may depend on the type of visa as well.

I'm a CR-1 visa, so hopefully quickly.

I know another poster talked about how the Embassy was maybe prioritizing student visa's before the beginning of the school year. Hope, since college has largely started, that this was the case and they'll pick up other visa categories again.

Student visas should have taken up June and July then since school starts late August.

Good luck! A friend (US) of mine's husband (UK) said his interview was very short and easy. Basically asked where his wife lived, and that was it. Lol, probably because no one would claim Wisconsin if they could help it. 🙃

Thanks for responding. 3 weeks isn't very long at all.

You can read reviews of London interviews. Some give really good detail of what to expect. See the top page menu and find Office Reviews and Info. Then pick Consulate:United Kingdom.
Here’s  link.  https://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=United+Kingdom&cty=&dfilter=5
