Hi  i am just wondering if anyone know answer to my query, i have recieved my Acro Police certificate on 10 october and it is valid for 3 months i havent got interview date yet do i have to get another one for interview or i can take the one that i submitted to NVC with 10th ocobter date on it

This is off topic. It is not about receiving your interview date. Nor is your other post 31-Dec asking for a list of what to prepare for the medical.  This thread keeps being used as if it is the whole UK forum.

To help you out a bit

if you got your interview assigned…post in this thread

If you want to ask anything about the medical exam….start a new thread

if you want to ask about police certificate….that’s another new thread.
if you want to ask about what to take to your interview….start a new thread
if you need to vent or share a frustration….start a new thread.

Here’s the UK FORUM. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/
I use the website and there’s a green box that says “Start new topic”.  Not sure on app or if there is an app. 🤷‍♂️
A new topic will help others who are interested in the same topic find the answers they need instead of it being buried in a thread with 1600+ responses. I hope that helps you understand the best place to post UK specific questions.

Also please make a timeline and profile. It helps the people who might have an answer for you. Right now we don’t know the visa you are seeking, your embassy, how much of your process is completed and when. I personally am not going to bother answering anymore to people without profiles and timelines. The answer one gives could depend on the visa, where your case is, etc.

Attended my interview this morning, and it went well, aside from my Medical results not having arrived, so am in the 'Refused' until results arrive queue, they kept my passport.

Medical exam: 5th Jan  , Visa Medical confirmed they sent the results to the embassy on 11th Jan, and today 13th Jan was my interview (9am). I suspect the results had not been processed at the embassy in time for my interview, so should come through in the next week or two.

 @addocap

Note the interview on Jan 13, 2022 (quoted above). No medical received, but interview still happened like I explained to you before.  They don’t send people away, but pause the case until the medical is in their hands. I hope you got something sorted.

Out of curiosity I logged into the appointment booking service using my non immigrant account (used for my B1/B2 visa), as I had been trying to renew this for the last year but as there were not interview slots I was unable to do so. I can now see slots available for end of April. Looks like the embassy is starting to move back to a pre-covid level of operations, probably still some way off as the backlog of visas that were not prioritized clears.

Yes, they said they would have the interview without them having been "received", but that you had to have least had went to the medical first. I.e., if you went but docs were "in route", it was fine. If you simply hadn't attended the appointment, there were adamant you would not be allowed entry. For us, to much risk to go cross-country for a "just-in-case."

We did try to get a cancellation medical slot every day, but none opened.

As such, medical is tomorrow (18th) and interview is rescheduled for the 1st of February now.

Good luck with your medical and interview!

Were there many slots to choose from when you re-scheduled your interview? It's useful to see how busy the booking slots look for users who may need to re-schedule.

We rescheduled our interview. Originally we had it on January 10th but rescheduled for February 9th. When we rescheduled there were many slots to choose from. I attached a photo.

To round off this... my status changed from Refused to Administrative Processing the following day, which I assume means they got my results. The following week, my status changed to Issued, and a two days later my passport was ready to collect with the visa from the DX office (I opted for in person collection). Took a week from the interview to having my passport with visa in hand.

Fantastic, really happy for you! When are you flying over to your new life?

I'm sat here still waiting for my NVC review...

Thanks! I'll be flying out in mid-Feb, have lots of packing to do, I really wasn't expecting everything to happen to fast.

Hope your NVC review comes around quick, looks like they are in around 18~Oct, so maybe a week or two more for you.

While you’re waiting, check your timeline. You’ve got “Send IV package” happening six months from now (July 2022).

  • 3 weeks later...

So IR1 visa interviews are given one month after being DQ. I been DQ since July 2021 for F21 visa and nothing since, only emails every 60 days telling me my case is still with NVC awaiting interview appointment. How far down is F21 from IR1 in priority line? It's seems there isn't even that many F21 applications for London to deal with anyway so why is it taking so long.
