Congratulations! How did you find out about the interview letter?

Was it emailed or did you log into CEAC

Thank you!

Hi - we have had to reschedule our appointment date but for the past 2 weeks we have just received 'system is busy' notification. I called the Embassy and they said I could try to write and have the initial date reinstated which would mean missing my brothers wedding. Do appointments actually open up or are we looking at another 3 month wait?? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Hi all 😊

I was DQ'ed on 19th August and awaiting IL. The last post about ILs was someone who was DQ'ed at the end of July! Has anyone who was DQ'ed in August received their letters?

I'm nearly 20 months into this visa journey and just want to be able to live with my wife now!

We were DQ'ed August 1st, so it looks like we just missed the last batch.  Any day now guys!!  I jump whenever my email notification rings on my phone 😅

Based on other people's posts, it looks like our interview dates will be late November/early December.

we’re Aug 6th so “same week” as you!! We’re hoping we’re next as well. Cause there’s no (or shouldn’t be) 3rd and 4th DQ since it was a weekend. Same, EVERY SINGLE TIME I get an email I get super excited.

I bet there's probably some function on the site that could do this, but I created my own little comparison spreadsheet extract from this thread. It seems that waiting times have doubled compared to last year 😭

There is, you can search timelines, although that does of course rely on people having filled them in. Looks like there were some 60+ days last summer as well, so not dissimilar. It always increases over the summer as focus is shifted to student visas etc that have a hard deadline - and of course this year, there was also the Diversity Visa as well. Now that deadline has passed, things should start to speed up again.

Yeah that's true, but the overview doesn't show DQ or IL, which are the important factors here. And as you're saying, it only shows timelines data. So I went through messages and collected the info by hand 😅 It would be nice if you could select the columns you're interested in in the overview.

IR-1

Applied: 2023-09-12

I-130 Approved: 2024-07-02

Documents sent: 2024-09-20

DQ: 2024-09-27

IL: ??

Interview: ??
