I have looked online but we are unable to register yet I am assuming it takes a couple of days to get into the system, but once it does will the portal allow you to move the date? I'm sure I saw an option in the portal to re-arrange the date if I recall correctly. There's instructions via email/your appointment letter in how to rearrange the date somewhere. Regarding the passport, they take away the beneficiary's to then apply the visa inside it. So if your husband sponsored you, then it's your passport they take. If you're the one sponsoring him, then it's his passport they will take when you attend the interview.

Oh no i’m sorry!! I DQ’d June 28th and my hubs interview is Nov 1st. Another person with a July 1st DQ also had an interview for Nov 1st on discord… Lots of people with later DQ’s received a letter so I don’t know why you haven’t.

 

I would start contacting your (or your partner’s - whoever’s American) local representative & also contact the NVC at this point

How did you guys register online for courier service? Which option do we select? Is it the “I have received a letter/email from consular section with instructions to schedule an immigrant visa appointment”?

Is the ds260 number that you have to fill in during courier registration the confirmation  number you get when documentarily qualified? Starting with AAfollowed by eight digits? And furthermore when are you supposed to register for courier? Because ours is showing not ready for an appointment when we tried to schedule today- I guess we have to wait couple of days once we received the IL for the systems to update?

Ours is doing the same, from what I have read it takes a couple of days to process into the system, oh the fun!
