DQ'd 16th May.

Email today with an appt for 18th Sept.

Unfortunately I'm going to struggle to make it as I'm currently in the USA for a visit and we have a family wedding on 21st September that I would be very sad to miss. I've tried to rearrange the appointment following the reschedule online advice on the instructions, but it's telling me that my NVC Number is not available to schedule an appointment right now - presumably because I have one.

I'd really rather they be able to assign someone else to this appointment date rather than wait for it to pass when I know I can't make it.

I have a few questions

- Is there a means to speak to a customer service advisor by telephone at the embassy?

- How do I find out the wait time for my reschedule, as I'd rather (reluctantly) miss the wedding than wait another 4 months.

- Has anyone got any experience of rescheduling who might be able to help me?

Thanks!!

Did you use the embassy website to rearrange the appointment? if not try that.

Sorry if this is obvious but just clicked. If the embassy take my passport during/after interview, as members have stated, and send it to my registered UK address, how do I fly back to my area of the UK without it?

Or do I just not, and I'm forced to book other travel arrangements?

Dq'd june 10th interview early September 🥳

What date??? This is surprising as the latest DQ we saw was June 5th and Sept 30th interview!

can you share any more info? Did you expedite? CR1/IR1? Thanks

I was DQ'd earlier yet my interview date is later. Goes to show there's no clear rhyme or reason to London's process in sending out appointment letters.

And NVC DQ date was June 10? Not May 10? Couldn’t find your timeline to confirm

Absolutely, after doing some searching we weren't expecting this until next month. 😌

Wow that’s amazing. I wonder if anyone else between 5 June -10 June received an interview for September?

I haven’t seen anyone else yet. That’s awesome though

Anyone else recently DQ'd/IL'd having trouble registering their address for the passport return service as instructed? It just tells me I don't need to schedule an interview - which I know - and gives me no other options.

Something similar happened to me. My guess is that some interviews are canceled and the slot is immediately filled by whoever is processed next.
