The embassy does not assign your interview, so does not send notifications via Royal Mail. NVC picks your date/time and notifies by email.

Interview scheduled: 30/09/2022

Interview date: 22/11/2022

Just phoned the medical appointment booking, they seem to have a lot of availability, but are not open for November bookings yet. They told me to call back on Monday.

Congrats to everyone who got their interview today! I wonder if the date (last day of the month) was done instead of the 1st, since the 1st is a Saturday.

Documentarily Qualified: 3rd September 

Interview Letter: 29th September 

Interview Date: 8th November

Medical Date: 24th October

 

I tried to register on the Visa Appointment Service but I recieve an error telling me I may need to wait 5 days.

Interview letter: FRI 30 SEP (email received at 07:36 BST)

Medical date scheduled: MON 24 OCT
Interview date scheduled: TUE 01 NOV

 

Having the same problem registering with the Visa Appointment Service as mentioned above. Will try again in 5 days.

They will take you at Medical as long as you have the case number.  I scheduled mine last week before I received IL

That usually happens when you try the first day. The system could be ready for you by tomorrow. Just try once each day until it lets you in. There is no rush since your interviews aren’t until November.

I hadn't expected this step. Given we actually have interview dates, what does this step achieve exactly?

Does anyone have any sense of the current wait time for delivery of actual green cards? I assume it's triggered from when you enter the US (rather than Embassy approval). I've seen 1-3 months but that's vague and things change fast.
