Hi all,

We're just assembling the K1 Visa Packet to get ready to mail out, but I have a question about the Additional Information asked of us. When they ask us to describe the details of our in person meeting what is exactly meant by this? All the times we have met in person? We live in the same city so we meet with each other quite often. What should we put then? We have also included flights, call logs, everything that proves we have taken planes to visit my family in the US or travelled abroad on vacations together. However, we are always in the same place. What should we put for this?

We simply wrote:

"Beneficiary visited [DATE OF ENTRY] to [DATE OF EXIT]. Beneficiary also visited [DATE OF ENTRY] to [DATE OF EXIT]. Please refer to statement and evidence for more detail."

Then we included a 'Statement of Circumstances of Meeting'. This went into more detail as to how we met (online), how we planned to meet in person, when we met in person, where we stayed, etc.

If you live in the same city, then is the K1 the best option for you? Are you the USC? Under what circumstances is the non-USC in the US?

@smilingstone Thank your for your response. This is the best option for us at this point due to our circumstances that I'd rather not share online, unfortunately.

How should we explain that we see each other regularly, but have also travelled on various vacations together and we have both visited each other's families on several occasions?

Exactly like you just explained it.
