Hello -

I am in the process of applying for my husband's AOS and I got both the I-131 and I-765 returned back to me for insufficient fees - apparently I didn't pay for them as I misread everything and thought the fees were included in the $1440 I paid for sending off all the AOS packet.  Now I see some blurb that states this rule changed for requests submitted after 4/1/24 - so there's that.  More mad at myself I didn't see this blurb the million times I read all these USCIS fees and required docs.  Anyway - I digress...

Now I've gone online to find what the fees are I need to pay and I can't decide which category he falls under and I'm afraid to either pay too much or too little - because either way they'll deny the request again and I want to make sure I'm reading them right.  Is he  considered general filing for $470 online or do i send the $260 since his I-485 is still pending?  Sorry if that's a goofy question I'm just second guessing myself.   Also, can I just let the request for the travel application expire for now and reapply at a later date?  Will that affect anything w/ the AOS processing?  Thank you all for support.

Thank you!  When you say yes - does that mean yes I can apply for the travel auth at a later date or yes, it will affect AOS processing if I opt to not reapply for it right now?

Also, do you know if I have to resubmit all of the supporting docs again (i.e. - passport sized photos, I-94, etc.) when I send the application back or do I just send the application plus to money?  Sorry - I read into things a lot and just second guess everything I do.

Start over.

Include everything for each form.
