I-129f expedited services experience

Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone recently had any experience and timeline for I-129f expedited services.

My I-129f was received on 16AUG 2024. Submitted for expedited services on 22AUG was denied on the 27AUG. I reached out to my local congressman and he submitted an inquiry for me. My expedited service request was approved on 5 SEP 2024.

Follow is the email I received from my congressman:

“Enclosed is a copy of the reply I recently received in response to my inquiry on your behalf.

"Thank you for your inquiry on behalf of your constituent’s I-129F petition, receipt number WAC******regarding a request for expedited processing.

After careful review and consideration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has granted your constituent's request for expedite processing.

The approved request will be forwarded to the adjudication unit and the case will be assigned to an officer. We are unable to determine at this time how long the review process will take. As soon as a decision is made on the cases a notice of action will be mailed out.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke.

We hope the information provided is helpful."

I believe the information contained in the reply is self-explanatory, and I hope it answers your questions concerning this matter.

Thank you for contacting my office.”

I have been checking my online case status but the last update was request for additional information that was submitted by my congress team from 3 SEP2024. Just want to see what’s the wait time nowadays for this. I read 2 weeks but I also have seeing people waiting for about 30 days now(filled in June)

Timeline

It seems to take them about a month to review expedites, but I am not saying that with any certainty, seen them all over.

Hey I can’t go into details but military deployment which won’t allow my fiancée to get here on time and get married. If we follow USCIS timeline I will be gone by the time she gets here and I won’t be back until after 90days of her coming.

That's usually an automatic approval for an expedite on the I-129F. I'm sorry you had to get your congress person involved. God bless and thank you for serving our country! Hope everything goes quickly for you guys!
