Hi,

I hope this is the correct place to ask this, if not please let me know. I have a conditional green card that expires 02/15/2025, and am wanting to visit family over Christmas until 01/08/2025. Will this be possible? Will they let me into the country with just over a month left on my green card?

im going to file for removal of conditions in November which will be within the 90 days of expiration, and I’m hoping I will have a 24 month extension on my green card by the time I fly to the UK. This is just worse case scenario.

i heard that with green cards i can be let back into the US right up until the date of expiration. Is this true?

I tried to call USCIS but always find it difficult to get through to a person :(

thank you for answers in advance!

Yes.  Don't call USCIS.

Here's entire thread about travelling on conditional GC + extension letter:

I've had several trips on it too while I-751 was pending. It's nothing to write home about, other than you need to show up to airport nice and early and prepare to wait for airline staff / immigration to validate everything. Occasionally you may get some airline staff not familiar with it, for that you can carry printout of carrier guide.
