Hi all :)

I was wondering if someone could help me please? I’ve seen posts before about a cafe very close to the London Embassy that lets you store your bag for a fee, does anyone know the name of it please? I can’t seem to find it for the life of me! Or alternatively, any other places close by where I can store my bag.

Thank you very much :)

Those posts may be out of date, from when you weren't allowed to take bags/phones etc in. Now it's fine to, as long it's handbag/small backpack size rather than a suitcase or something like that.

Hi,

I had my visa interview last month and the name of the cafe near the embassy is District Coffee. They open at 07:30 and it is £10 to store a bag and £5 to store a laptop.

Hope that this helps!

Oh brilliant, this is the one! Thank you very much for the info on prices 😁

@wallflowers have you had your interview yet?

Hey! I have 😁 My visa was approved and I’ve got it back in hand 🥳 I ended up storing my backpack at Sendero Specialty Coffee. You can see the embassy queue from the coffee shop. I had to pay a £10 deposit for my bag, and if you buy anything from the shop it’s deducted from that £10 credit. I think they refund it at the end but I spent it all on coffee and cake 😂 (the coffee here was incredible, I ended up having another after my interview too 😂). It’s definitely convenient 😁

Glad that you have had your visa approved and received it now! I can imagine that the cake was very nice as well haha I did want to get a drink and some cake from District Coffee after my interview but I had to get to London St Pancras for the train back so I had to get something from the station instead.
