Finally got to open a new account for my ROC. I called USCIS and they gave me the access code for the case receipt number.

I checked the online documents and it has the Receipt Notice with 48 months extension and the Biometrics Reuse notice.

Service Center is TSC.

What's your service center?

Is it really going to take 10+ months to receive the 10 year GC? Unbelievable! Good luck with yours 😁

It can. Mine took around close to 21 months end to end. My case wasn't an exception. Some waited even longer.

There is a reason why USCIS is issuing 48 month extension letters.

Hi! I am starting a thread for September 2024 filers. We wanted to file in August but realized we had more things to file. Yesterday, we finally sent our package and it should arrive to the USCIS tomorrow.

Anyone else who filed or will be filing in September?

Hello! We just sent ours out to be filed last week and it should arrive at the USCIS lockbox today *fingers crossed*.

Sept 23 - Sent Application

Sept 26 - USPS update (Delivered to Lockbox)

Oct 7 - Received Biometric reuse and Online access code in the mail

Oct 15 - Received Extension Letter in the mail

Three observations;

1. Before I got my mails, I asked an agent where my case was being processes and she said National Benefits Center (Missouri)

2. When I got my mail, the notice had CSC California Service Center, Tustin CA had the bottom

3. But the mails themselves were send from Dept. of Homeland Security California Service Center, 7 product Way (CSC), Lee's summit, MO

Just a little weird. Has anyone observed similar?

Agents give false info all the time.

2 and 3 are logical. You have California Service Center. Green Cards and extension letters are physically produced at Lee's Summit Production facility. When your GC will be approved, that address is going to send your GC too.

Sept 30 - Application sent

Oct 2 - USPS delivered the package

Oct 4 - Credit Card got charged. Received Receipt # in text message from USCIS.

Oct 16 - Received 48-month extension letter in mail. Added the case to my USCIS account.

My case status has not changed since Oct 2.

Hopefully there will be some actions taken such as biometrics in the near future.

But at least I already got extension letter at hand!

Hopefully it will change soon.

It took almost 5 months for my biometrics to get reused.

Some people only get biometrics reused, case actively reviewed statuses towards the end of their 12-18-24 month wait right before the case is approved.

It was very brave of your using credit card for payment, glad it worked without issues.

Good luck and keep us posted!

I wanted the points so I decided to go for it 😆

I read a lot about other people’s experiences so I did notify the bank after I sent the application. I was pretty worried that it wouldn’t get through. Luckily it worked out well at the end!
