Hi guys,

I did not explain properly to the person wrote an affidavit of support for my removal of conditions and he wrote "opportunity to become a citizen of USA" at the end. i really really dont want to bother people at all so to avoid asking to do it again

1) can I just give it as is? or will create more issues than good?

2) should add a separate note explaining the mistake proactively

3) do not include the letter at all without a fix first.

TIA

Do not send stuff you're not happy with. Why give USCIS something they could use against you?

Either ask people to correct affidavit OR do not send it.

Same principle can be applied to any other evidence. If it weakens your case or gives a mixed signal - do not use.

Ask the person to change it. They already wrote the whole thing and most likely will be ok with deleting/changing 1 sentence.  It's for your own good. I checked every affidavit and told people what to change. The worst case scenario the person will say no to you and you will not include the affidavit.

I would also make sure that this or any affidavit you submit does not include the title or wording “Affidavit of Support” (as you have written here), since USCIS uses that term to refer to form I-864 and not these types of affidavits confirming personal knowledge of your relationship.

Agreed, even lawyers / websites use this term incorrectly. They are just affidavits, not "Affidavit of Support".
