Hey guys, so I'm an international student married to a US citizen and I filled my I-765 through STEM since I have an engineering degree. My EAD card is going to expire in December but I was curious should I renew it through STEM or can I apply for an EAD card through my adjustment of status since its still pending?

Thank you in advance

Do you think I should do the renewal first then the one under AOS or? Cuz after doing a lot of research a lot of people are saying that the one under the AOS takes way longer

Yes, I actually thought about this too after answering your questions. Though there is no way of knowing which EAD would be quicker to renew, perhaps trying the one off STEM may be a good idea.

Im thinking about doing the one under AOS since its gonna cost me $260 then I can do the STEM one in October or start working on it mid month like I was going to since if I do the expedited one it'll cost me $2155
