I don't know, but according to reliable sources people that vote Republicans into office are also self loathing closet queens. The Republican party is chocked full of 'em. You know...birds of a feather....

So if you don't want to be suspected of being a 'mo, you better vote the straight Dem ticket...not.

There's something to be said about homophobia and self loathing, closet homosexuals.

And that is (fill in the blank).

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

They sometimes manifest that psychosis (homophobia) into political action - pushing for legislation to rid society of homosexuality...or at least make it/keep it underground and unacceptable.

Or maybe gay Republicans just believe a large portion of Democratic policies are full of sh*t! Come on...the Republicans didn't build a whole party platform solely around bashing gays. They are a little more complex than that and so are gays.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows...eh? ;)

Who are trying to kid, brother? Gay marriage was one of the single issues that Republican strategists purposely exploited to divide the voters. The fact is, the base of Republican Party is made up people who find homosexuality an abomination and a threat to traditional family values. Although there are Republicans who aren't as vigilant about homosexuality as others, many candidates were elected on their pro family, anti-homosexual stances. Ironically and somewhat humorously, many of those very candidates have since been caught in some form of sexual controversy or another. The good news is that this has caused a fissure in the Party's base. The evangelical Christians are no longer seeing the Republican Party as the champion of their moral cause.
